Tasha Lu was named brand ambassador for Hendrick’s Gin for Southeast Asia in October 2015. Having worked in the bar industry for nearly a decade, she spent the last four years managing and operating bars such as the multi-awarded Eau de Vie in Melbourne.
Tasha epitomizes the kind of bartender you would want to hang out with. Cool as a cucumber (which is her favorite fruit and garnish for the ubiquitous gin and tonic) and quirky and approachable (despite the piercings and tattooed appearance), she is a fountain of knowledge without coming across as a know-it-all. She has said that if she weren’t a brand ambassador, she would be a wizard. This Australian bartender is the perfect match for the non-traditional Hendrick’s.

If I were a cocktail… It would be a Hendrick’s cocktail, so, it would be a gin cocktail, because it’s unusual. And I really like champagne cocktails. I really like bitter cocktails. I really don’t like anything citrus-heavy. But if you’re gonna say what’s your spirit animal? I’ll be like some majestic animal that doesn’t exist.
