This Thai-inspired cocktail is an invigorating tipple for a warm day. The mixture of lemon, makrut lime, and lemongrass flavors wakes up the palate and uplifts your spirit.
Ingredients:
- 45 ml Stolichnaya
- 15 ml lemon juice
- 15 ml makrut lime (also known as kaffir lime*) syrup
- 10 ml lemongrass syrup
- 2 small stalks of lemongrass
- ginger beer
Directions:
- Muddle lemongrass in a copper mug.
- Add ice and add Stolichnaya, lemon juice, makrut lime syrup, and lemongrass syrup.
- Stir and add more ice.
- Add other ingredients and stir.
- Add tube ice and garnish with a lemongrass stalk.
* In some cultures, the word “kaffir” is a derogatory slur. We’re using “makrut” here as recommended by The Oxford Companion to Food.
