This is not your usual Bloody Mary. Made bloodier (red) and earthier by the addition of beetroot, the spicy, savory, thick cocktail goes well with the isaw and barbeque garnish. It’s a meal in itself. So good you can’t be blamed if you have it three times a day.
Ingredients:
- 45 ml vodka
- 120 ml tomato juice (thick)
- 60 ml V8 vegetable juice
- 3-5 dashes Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
- 30 ml lemon juice
- 20 ml beetroot juice
- 3-5 dashes tabasco sauce (or more, to taste)
- 1/2 bar spoon horseradish
- 2 pinches each of salt pinch of pepper
- 3 dashes cayenne pepper
- 3 dashes paprika
Directions:
- Add ingredients in shaker.
- Add ice and ROLL, not shake.
- Strain into glass with ice.
- Garnish with skewered tomato, cucumber pickles, lemon slice, olives, and basil. Add in skewered isaw and barbeque.
