This cocktail is a tribute to the biggest beauty pageant in the world: Miss Universe. Since this year’s pageant takes place in our country, we decided to give a classic sexy cocktail a “Pinay” twist. The balanced and well-rounded Pinaygarita has a little bit of everything: It’s sweet and tart, with a kick of tequila that lights up the taste buds. The green mango and pineapple combined produce a delicate fragrance that is unfamiliar but at the same time sophisticated and potent.
Ingredients:
- 60 ml Jose Cuervo Reposado
- 30 ml fresh lime juice
- 30 ml agave syrup
- 30 ml Cointreau
- 60 ml fresh green mango and pineapple juice
Directions:
- Rim glass with lime and roll the glass mouth onto salt and sugar to rim the glass. Set aside.
- In a shaker, add all ingredients.
- Add ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain and pour into the salt and suger-rimmed glass.
- If youre using a glass with stem, tie a ribbon at the base for a sash effect.
