This is definitely something else. It’s a drink you can smell a mile away. But don’t let that put you off. This tart cocktail tastes better than it smells and goes down smooth. If you want a challenge, this is the drink for you. This is not for the faint of heart. Only for the adventurous drinkers out there. This is definitely a notch-on-your-belt type of experience. Who could say that they’ve had a radish cocktail before?
Ingredients:
- 1 red radish, shredded with a box grater
- ½ teaspoon sugar 60 ml bourbon
- 10 ml radish juice (juiced white radish)
- 10 ml honey syrup
- 10 ml lemon juice
- dash of angostura
Directions:
- Macerate the grated radish with the sugar.
- Add the remaining ingredients and shake vigorously until chilled.
- Strain into a double rock glass with a large ice cube.
- Garnish with thinly sliced radish and serve.
