Ingredients:
- 3 pcs ginger, muddled
- 20 ml calamansi juice
- 15 ml Giffard Bitters
- Sprite (to top)
Directions:
- Muddle ginger in mason jar.
- Add calamansi juice and Giffard bitters.
- Add ice and top with sprite.
- Garnish with candied ginger.
How to make candied ginger:
- Peel the ginger root and slice into thick bite size.
- In a pan, add 1 cup of water, 1 cup of brown sugar, and the ginger slices.
- Bring to a boil and lower the heat. Cook until the ginger is tender and the sugar is starting to crystallize.
- Remove from heat and drain excess liquid from the ginger bites.
- Roll the ginger bites in white sugar. Let it cool and place in a jar.
