The weather can be unpredictable these days, swinging from stormy and windy to hot and humid with very little warning. Here’s a cocktail you can enjoy regardless of the kind of weather we have. Southern Sunshine, from ICX Parties, is a take on the classic margarita. The addition of mango puree and basil and spicy salt, gives a different dimension to the drink. This sweet-spicy combination is lip-smackingly good.
Ingredients:
- 60 ml tequila
- 30 ml mango puree
- 15 ml lime juice
- 30 ml triple sec
- 3 basil leaves, clapped
Directions:
- Pour tequila, mango puree, lime juice, triple sec in shaker.
- Clap basil, add ice and shake.
- Strain into Tabaso and chili flake salt-rimmed glass and garnish with mango slice
