It’s National Dog Day! Treat your little pooches to this homemade dog-friendly pup-sicles. It is very simple to make, you can add your dog’s favorite treat and freeze together with chicken broth. These frozen treats are definite tail-waggers.
Ingredients:
- chicken broth
- chopped boiled chicken
- chopped boiled carrots
- ice molder
- twisted raw hide dog treat
Directions:
- Prepare the chicken broth by boiling 1 chicken breast and 1 whole medium size carrots. Let it cool.
Cut chicken breast into small pieces and set aside,
Cut boiled carrots into small pieces and set aside.
In an ice molder, add in the chopped carrots and chicken bits.
Stick in the twisted raw hide treat. Pour cooled chicken broth into the ice molder.
Let it freeze overnight. Serve the popsicles in an ice bowl so it will not easily melt.
