“I wanted to re-create the Brandy Alexander using flavors that are richer and nuttier.” – Edriane
Ingredients:
- 45 ml VSOP cognac
- 30 ml full cream
- 15 ml Averna Amaro Siciliano
- 15 ml Frangelico
- Glass: coupé glass
- Garnish: cinnamon shavings on top and two pieces Pocky sticks
- Ice: cubes
Directions:
- Add all ingredients in a shaker.
- Shake and strain into a coupé glass.
Note: This drink is better if ingredients are mixed in a blender.
Tasting notes: The Averna Amaro Siciliano gives the drink honey-like sweetness, which goes well with the cognac. The Frangelico adds a rich nuttiness lifted by the velvety texture of the cream.
