“The cocktail is inspired by my childhood days, when I used to hang socks on the door of my room during Christmas believing that Santa Claus would come and visit me while I was sleeping. Every Christmas morning I’d wake up to these socks filled with candies and lollipops!” – Vanessa
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 oz candy cane-infused Smirnoff vodka
- 1/2 oz Giffard pomegranate syrup
- 1/2 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz cranberry juice
- Egg white
- Glass used: cocktail glass
- Garnish: Lollipop, cotton candy, gummy tapes
Directions:
- In a tin shaker combine all the ingredients. Add ice and shake vigorously.
- Strain and pour over fresh ice.
- Garnish with lollipop, cotton candy and gummy tapes.
- Serve.
Tasting notes: It smells like a candy store—sweet and inviting. It’s not as sweet as you’d imagine based on the ingredients because the lemon and cranberry juice balances it to make for a refreshing Christmas treat.
