Tasting notes: Inspired by the favorite childhood treat S’mores, this drink brings to mind the burnt, sweet scent of fire-roasted marshmallows layered with chocolate and graham crackers. It’s a strong sipping drink for the adult who will always be a kid at heart.
Ingredients:
- 45 ml Jack Daniel’s
- 10 ml Kahlúa
- 2 dashes chocolate bitters
- 2 dashes orange bitters
- 1 barspoon candy cane syrup
Glass: rock glass
Garnish: Fibisco choco mallows and orange peel
Ice: Tube ice (but if you have round or cube ice, it’s a better option so as not to dilute the drink)
How to Make Candy Cane Syrup:
- 1 cup water
- 10 standard size candy canes
- Boil candy cane with 1 cup of water.
- Stir until the candy canes dissolve.
- Remove from heat and let it cool before transferring to a bottle.
Directions:
- Add all ingredients in a mixing glass.
- Add ice and stir.
- Pour in a rock glass with ice and garnish with torched chocolate mallows.
- Express orange peel on the drink and serve.
