Naughty Matilda

< 1 minute

We’ve done some twists to the Bloody Mary, but this is taking it to a different direction. Instead of using red tomato juice (which makes the drink ‘bloody’) we opted to use unripe green tomatoes. Unripe tomatoes give the drink a milder taste. Add the green freshness of the cucumber and green bell pepper, and you’ve got yourself a Naughty Matilda.

Ingredients:

  • 30 ml Absolute Citron
  • 120 ml tomato juice (green tomato)
  • 15 ml cucumber juice
  • 5 ml green bell juice (If you don’t have a juicer, muddle 4 cubes of green pepper instead, before adding ingredients.)
  • 10-15 ml sugar syrup
  • 30 ml lemon juice
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch of pepper
  • 1 bar spoon horseradish
  • 10 dashes habanero green hot sauce
  • 2-3 dashes celery bitters
  • 4-5 dashes Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 dashes paprika

Directions:

  1. Add ice (only half full) in a shaker.
  2. Add all ingredients Shake Strain into collins glass with ice.
  3. Garnish with celery stick and green pepper sticks.
