Start your day with a cup of Chocolate Eggnog, this twist to the classic Christmas favorite swaps milk for coconut milk, giving it a rich coconut-y depth that goes perfectly with the dark chocolate. Who says you can’t enjoy a Christmas treat any time of the year?
Ingredients
1 egg 1/2 cup coconut milk 3/4 cup water 1/2 bar spoon ground nutmeg 3-5 squares of dark chocolate
Directions
Combine egg, coconut milk, water, and ground nutmeg in a blender. Blend until well-mixed. Turn on the stove and melt chocolate in a double boiler. Add in the egg mixture and mix into the chocolate. Stir until the liquid is steaming (do not boil). Garnish with dark chocolate shavings and serve.
