Oenophiles gear up for Southeast Asia’s prestigious inaugural Wine Pinnacle Awards and The Great Wine & Dine Festival 2019, happening on October 10 to 12 at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore.
The three-day celebration will kick off with an invite-only Wine Pinnacle Awards Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony on October 10 at the Resorts World Ballroom in Sentosa. The prestigious event will gather various wine collectors, sommeliers, winemakers, and other luminaries of the wine industry from various parts of the globe to witness the announcement of winners which will honor 24 wines per award category. Wine Pinnacle Awards marks the first-ever wine award based on nominations. Any wine in the world can enter the award-giving body with no restriction on its origin or entry fees. A jury of over 50 top wine professionals, Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, wine influencers, and sommeliers from all over the globe nominated wines of their choice without restrictions. The Wine Pinnacle Awards Committee, consisting of five of wine industry greats—Jeannie Cho Lee MW (Hong Kong), Kenichi Ohashi MW (Japan), Doug Frost MW, MS (US), Oz Clarke (UK) and Andreas Larsson (Sweden)— supervised the nomination process.
The categories includes wine nominations for old vintage, new releases, hidden treasures, and award categories for people in the wine industry, which will consist of the Best Young Winemaker Of The Year (Under 40) and Top Wine Influencer (Under 45).
