Make humpday Wednesday more exciting by exploring the flavors of Fable Whisky at Liquor.PH’s Burns Night-Themed Dinner. A belated celebration of Burns Day, a tribute to the life and contributions of Scottish bard Robert Burns celebrated annually on or around January 25, this much-awaited hybrid event will take place at The Astbury in Poblacion as well as on Zoom on February 16.
Since Burns Night is a Scottish national holiday, it’s only fitting to introduce a Scottish whisky to the local drinking masses. The event features a masterclass featuring new Scottish independent bottler, Fable Single Malt Scotch. The whiskies will be accompanied by Scottish-inspired dishes by chef Edward Bugia and his team.
Liquor.PH’s Frank Kona Shrope & Leonard De Guzman will be hosting the festivities. These guys are passionate about spirits, and are the same people behind Whisky Anonymous and leaders of The Whisky Society of Manila Facebook group. Conducting the the masterclass and helping out with hosting duties are Kevin Griffin, Fable Whisky’s international sales director, and award winning whisky journalist Dominic Roskow.
