Calling all gin lovers! The British Chamber of Commerce Philippines (BCCP) invites all gin enthusiasts to join the much-awaited 11th World Gin Day celebration on 27 June 2024 at Dusit Thani Hotel Manila.
In collaboration with Ginebra San Miguel Inc., this year’s event will shine a spotlight on both local and British gins. Highlights include the 6th Bartending Competition, where talented bartenders will showcase their skills and vie for exclusive prizes. The event provides an excellent platform for gin brands to display their finest offerings, featuring products from GSMI, Whitley Neill Gin, G&I Spirit Group Ltd, and many more.
Last year’s World Gin Day was a remarkable success, introducing a variety of UK gins, including the launch of GSMI’s new Premium Gin and 1834 gin. The event also showcased the exceptional talents of top bartenders in the 5th BCCP Bartending Competition.
Gin is a significant market in both the Philippines and the United Kingdom. According to a report by Williams & Marshall Strategy, the gin market in the Philippines is expected to reach a value of USD 220.08 million by 2024, with a compound annual growth rate of 6.32% from 2019 to 2024.
