A great win for the Philippines’ local craft beer industry! The recently held 2024 Asia Beer Championship in September in Singapore saw homegrown brand Elias Wicked Ales & Spirits make the country proud by clinching multiple awards, including the title of Country Champion Brewery of the Philippines for the third consecutive year. Elias also nabbed the title of Champion Small-Sized Brewery of Asia, along with five gold medals in the experimental beer, saison, no/low-alcohol beer, tea beer, and perry/pear categories. Their accolades didn’t stop there, as they also secured one silver and five bronze medals in various other categories.

The Asia Beer Championship is an awards program run by industry professionals and judged by international brewers and expert beer judges. This year’s edition featured 800 beer entries from top breweries across 13 countries in Asia, showcasing a diverse range of styles in 32 different beer categories.

Elias proudly ranked among the top three best craft beers in all of Asia, spotlighting the country’s brewing capabilities, innovation, and quality. Products highlighted in their gold wins include its Puto Bumbong Stout ++ for the experimental beer category, Elias’s Summer Breeze for the saison category, Le Petit Mango for the no/low-alcohol beer category, Blends with Benefits for the tea beer category, and Pear Pressure cider for the perry/pear category.
