Christmas is in the air, and if you’re looking to sip on some festive drinks, many Hong Kong venues have started offering warming holiday sippers. Adding to the celebrations, Quinary (ranked No. 26 at Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) is collaborating with Schwarzwald Dry Gin Monkey 47 to invite guests to hop on board its festive Monkey 47 Express.
From now until January 8, Quinary is transformed into the first station to take visitors to the enchanting Black Forest of Germany, the origin of Monkey 47’s botanicals. Award-winning mixologist Antonio Lai and his talented team of bartenders have created a special seasonal menu featuring Schwarzwald Dry Gin.
Guests can sip on festive cocktails, including The Monkey Express (HK$160), which features flavors of mango, mustard, grilled bell pepper, and passion fruit topped with popcorn foam. Other concoctions include The Wild Grunch (HK$160), made with gin, parsley distillate, chamomile, white miso, and grapefruit, and the hot cocktail Platform 4/7 (HK$160), featuring red wine, chocolate, and chili. The menu also offers gin classics like the Monkey G&T (HK$160) and the Monkey-tini (HK$190).
Following Quinary, the next stops for the Monkey 47 Express are Antonio’s other bars in Central, which include Room 309, the hidden bar at The Pottinger Hotel; the newly opened The Opposites; and Draft Land, which serves cocktails on tap.
Visitors making a pit stop at each bar can collect stamps to unlock surprises. Once they complete the stamp card, they will have a chance to be one of the 10 guests selected as grand prize winners, with the announcements being made on Quinary’s Instagram on Boxing Day.
