Hong Kong cabaret bar Maggie Choo’s, known for its 1930s Shanghainese-themed interior—the offshoot of the famous themed bar in Bangkok designed by Ashley Sutton— is launching a series of weekly cabaret shows this season. If you’re looking to add some extra flair to your Thursday night bar hopping, be sure to book a table to catch the show from 9pm to 11pm and enjoy an entertaining evening of live vocals and performances from a troupe of international dancers making their Hong Kong debut.
The two-act cabaret show will showcase a talented cast of international dancers from Australia, Italy, UK, and France, with performances curated by the renowned entertainment director and costume designer Maria Mayorova, known for her show-stopping nightlife programs across Hong Kong, Guangzhou, and Bangkok. Award-winning choreographer Federica Gargano expertly crafts the choreography.

The two-act cabaret show at Maggie Choo’s kicks off with the energetic “Maggie Choo’s Song,” immersing guests in the venue’s nostalgic red-and-gold ambiance. Following this, the Vietnamese-inspired “Lean On” elegantly honors designer Ashley Sutton’s iconic Ophelia peacock-themed bar, leading into the playful classic “Big Spender,” where a performer in a balloon dress engages with the audience. The first act concludes with a break for guests to explore the bar’s charming atmosphere and partake in the playful question, “Where’s Maggie Choo?”
The second act will cover performances, showcasing a bold jazz number in leopard print, a graceful ballet routine atop the piano, and a grand finale with “Bang Bang,” adorned with feathers and pearls. Each show is interactive, culminating in a special announcement crowning a lucky guest as the winner of the evening. With themes changing every three months and regular new acts, daily live jazz from 8pm, and resident DJs spinning until past midnight, Maggie Choo’s promises an enchanting nightlife experience that keeps guests coming back for more.
Along with an entertaining lineup of performances, guests can fuel their night with new cocktails (HK$158 each) from a menu that features modern twists and Asian influences.
