In its second year, Bar Convent Singapore (BCB Singapore) heads to Marina Bay Sands to bring together Asia’s bar and beverage community, offering a robust platform for networking, education, and showcasing the latest in spirits and innovations. Whether you’re a bar owner, spirit maker, importer, distributor, or industry professional, BCB welcomes you to this exclusive international bar and beverage trade show.

Raising the Bar
Established nearly 20 years ago in Berlin, BCB has been a convergence point for the bar and beverage industry. It provides the venue and platform where brands, bartenders, bar owners, and other industry professionals can connect, build relationships, and expand their personal and professional networks with leaders from around the world.
Since its inception, BCB has grown globally, with editions in the US, Brazil, and the UK. In 2023, BCB Singapore made its debut and served as a gateway to the growing Asian market—encompassing Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, and the Philippines—achieving resounding success and attracting over 150 brands.
Discover, Learn, Connect
This year, attendees can expect a bigger, bolder, and more educational event, as shared by Henry Stonham, the senior project manager of BCB Singapore. He notes that BCB Singapore arrives at an opportune time: “With Asia being a relatively young market compared to the likes of Europe or North America, it’s even more important that events like BCB provide the right balance of knowledge sharing from more developed markets, whilst also providing a platform to amplify the voice and talent that’s emerging from within the region.”

On March 3 and 4, guests can participate in a variety of sessions, including expert-led seminars and hands-on craft workshops, covering topics such as leadership development, cocktail craftsmanship, bar ownership, and photography. These sessions provide valuable opportunities for bar owners, bartenders, and industry professionals to gain new insights and sharpen their skills in this highly competitive market.

“With over 40 sessions happening across the two days, there is so much to take in,” shares Henry. “This year’s BCB Singapore will continue to deliver our three main objectives: discovery, education, and networking.”
Attendees can expect to leave the event with newfound knowledge, as Singapore’s Peter Chua, head of education at BCB Singapore, has specially curated these activities in collaboration with top global and regional talent.

Some distinguished speakers include Danil Nevsky, founder and CEO of Indie Bartender; Carina Soto Velasquez, co-founder of Paris-based Quixotic Projects; Hyacinthe Lescoët, co-founder of The Cambridge Public House and co-owner of Little Red Door, Paris; and Bannie Kang, co-founder of Side Door, Singapore.
For those looking to make the most of the event, Henry recommends attending Danil Nevsky’s talk, “How to Conquer the Global Bar Industry.” “Having been one of the most influential names in the global bar industry in recent years, this will be his first time in Singapore, presenting to a predominantly Asian audience of young and ambitious bartenders—so it’s definitely something to look forward to.”
Agave Education
As BCB Singapore also aims to raise awareness about underrepresented brands, it’s also proud to introduce a special collaboration with Club Cantina, an educational platform focused on agave distillates. Club Cantina was founded by Manuel Weisskopf (founder of Dr. Sours Bitters) and Gernot Allnoch (co-founder of Mezcal San Cosme).
Attendees can join a series of masterclasses led by industry leaders in the agave world, including Iván Saldaña, co-founder and master distiller of Casa Lumbre; Graciela Ángeles Carreño, co-owner of Real Minero; and Jesse Este, global ambassador of Tequila Ocho.

Dynamic Workshops for Upskilling
For bartenders, bar owners, and enthusiasts, Henry shares that there will be bite-sized seminars where guests can learn key skills, fostering creativity, passion, creativity, and dedication to the art of cocktail making.
From the exciting lineup, Henry recommends the workshop featuring Taln Rojanavanich from Bar Us in Bangkok, who will go head-to-head with Damien Guichard, Brand Ambassador of BCB Berlin.
In this exciting showcase of global talent, both will be tasked with making the same drinks—one using a full range of high-tech equipment found in modern bars, and the other relying solely on simple, everyday items commonly found in a kitchen. “The aim is to prove that bartenders can create exciting and flavorful drinks no matter the tools they have at hand,” explains Henry.

A Showcase of Spirits
At the bar and beverage trade show, Henry shares that attendees can expect more than 150 international craft and premium spirits, mixers, consumables, and equipment from over 30 countries. “We will be featuring a mix of both established and emerging brands, as well as country pavilions from Japan, the USA, Mexico, and Italy. In line with our position as a trade platform, we are placing greater emphasis on connecting new brands with the market by matching them with attending importers from across Asia through our new Hosted Buyer Program,” he adds.
As one of the biggest events welcoming top producers and emerging beverage makers, BCB Singapore promises exciting showcases of premium drink brands. Discover brand-new national spirits from the US and Italy, alongside the return of industry leaders such as Brown-Forman, Campari, and Código.
Coming Together as a Community
While there is time for learning, upskilling, and networking, BCB Singapore also offers events dedicated to celebrating the community.
