Rosewood Hong Kong’s award-winning jazz bar, DarkSide, has unveiled its new cocktail menu, Timeless Tales: Flavours of Kowloon’s Legacy. Crafted by the talented bar team of DarkSide led by Bob Louison, Rosewood’s Director of Bars, this menu offers a sensory journey through Kowloon’s rich history, allowing guests to savor the exquisite flavors that define a timeless legacy. Inspired by Kowloon’s most iconic and enigmatic heritage sites, the thematic menu features eight reimagined cocktails that pay homage to Cantonese heritage, drawing inspiration from figures and locations such as Bruce Lee, The Walled City, the Clock Tower, Kai Tak, House Theatre, Red Brick, 1881, and Shop House. Each cocktail is infused with unique ingredients like soy sauce, pu-erh tea, salted plum, and jujube, meticulously crafted to capture a moment in Kowloon’s past. Together, they blend tradition, culture, and creativity in a harmonious pour.

2) The Nawabs of Bengal at Prince and the Peacock

Prince and the Peacock in Tai Kwun, known for serving exquisite Indian royal cuisine, introduces a limited-time menu celebrating the cuisine of Bengal’s Nawabs. The Nawabs of Bengal were the hereditary rulers of Bengal Subah in Mughal India, and during the 18th and 19th centuries, they were known for their opulent feasts and exquisite cuisine. Available from now to mid-April, this menu showcases a blend of Mughlai cooking techniques and Bengali ingredients, reflecting the rich culinary traditions of  Nawabi cuisine. Renowned for their distinct flavors, these recipes have been passed down from the royal kitchens.

The full menu is HKD748 per guest, with à la carte options available. Served Monday to Wednesday, dinner only.

3) Sky High Chandon Garden at Jin Bo Law

Dorsett Kai Tak’s rooftop cocktail bar, Jin Bo Law, partners with Chandon for Sky High Chandon Garden, an experience celebrating sparkling wine and gourmet bites. Guests can enjoy Chandon with curated pairings set against panoramic views of the Hong Kong skyline.

Guests can choose between two offers: Bubbles & Bites (HKD288). Two glasses of Chandon Brut or Chandon Garden Spritz with Lobster Royale. Or the Bottle Service (HKD598). A full bottle of Chandon Brut or Chandon Garden Spritz with a canapé platter featuring Lobster Royale, cocktail shrimp, calamari rings, ham and cheese croissants, smoked salmon spoons, and cheese slices.

4) A Symphony of Flavours: Chinese Wine and Dine Journey at Man Ho

Man Ho Chinese Restaurant at JW Marriott Hotel Hong Kong presents A Symphony of Flavours, a wine pairing menu showcasing Chinese wines alongside modern Cantonese dishes. Executive chef Jayson Tang and chief sommelier Kelvin Ziea have selected five wines from China to pair with dishes made with seasonal ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. The wine pairing menu, available until May 31 (HKD1,588 per guest), highlights paired courses, including Devo Blanc de Blancs from Ningxia paired with Chilled Abalone Jelly with Sake and Deep-Fried Crab Meat Toast, and Dong Qu Shaoxing Wine paired with Pan-Fried Scallops with Spring Onions in Ginger Foam, among others.

5) Rosewood Hong Kong’s 6th Anniversary

Rosewood Hong Kong celebrates its sixth anniversary this March with a month-long series of exclusive dining events, featuring collaborations with Michelin-starred chefs, pastry masters, and world-class mixologists. Guests can indulge in special afternoon teas, multi-course tasting menus, creative culinary fusions, and high-profile cocktail showcases. Highlights include a pastry collaboration at The Butterfly Room, a gourmet Fried Chicken Gala, an Indian-Korean fusion dinner, a British pie experience, and a unique Indian-Chinese menu. 6) Four Seasons Hotel’s Anniversary Dining Experiences

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong marks its 20th anniversary with an array of experiences throughout the property. For gourmets, stay ahead of your bookings and add two of their major culinary specials, which bring together top chefs for an exclusive dining experience. Book a table at Michelin-starred Lung King Heen on May 23 and 24 for an exclusive four-hands menu featuring dishes that blend Cantonese and Jiangnan cuisines. Chef Chan Yan Tak of Lung King Heen teams up with chef Charles Zhang of Jin Jing Ge at the Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou. At Michelin-starred French restaurant Caprice, book ahead for their Stellar Dinner experience, which will take place in the latter part of the year from September 18 to 20. Caprice hosts top guest chefs from around the world for a one-night-only tasting menu each evening, led by executive chef Guillaume Galliot.

The hotel’s Ultimate Tables Room Package is available until December 20, offering a luxury stay with dining at Lung King Heen and Caprice, cocktails at Argo, and Executive Club access.

7) À Poêle’s Weekend Brunch and Happy Hour

À Poêle French Bistro in Quarry Bay expands its offerings with an a la carte weekend brunch, limited-time cheese fondue nights, and daily happy hour deals. Make your weekends a boozy affair with their special brunch from 11 AM to 5pm, featuring a menu of French classics and an optional 90-minute free-flow for HKD148, including wines, Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Noisette Espresso. On Wednesdays at 5pm, gather your friends for a Cheese Fondue experience at HKD198 per set for two, plus an optional wine pairing. Need a midday break? Their daily happy hour from 3 PM to 8 PM offers wines and sparkling wines at HKD48, beers at HKD58, and cocktails at HKD68, alongside bar snacks. Mix and match any three for HKD108.

Enjoy Spanish cuisine at the spacious new Spanish restaurant, Aire, at Lee Garden One in Causeway Bay. The restaurant offers Basque grill cuisine, tapas, and paellas. Guests can enjoy classic tapas, premium grilled meats, seafood, and signature rice dishes paired with a selection of Spanish wines, gins, sangrias, and cocktails like Wake Me Up (a coffee-infused rum mix) and Colonial Times (a spicy Paloma twist). 9) Enjoy Thai Flavors at Yaowarat

Yaowarat, a new Thai eatery inspired by Bangkok’s Chinatown, opens this March on Hollywood Road, serving Thai street food, craft beer, and cocktails in a lively, high-energy setting. The menu features charred beef skewers, Hat Yai fried chicken, seafood fried rice, and Massaman pork cheek curry alongside classic Thai desserts like mango sticky rice. Lunch sets start at HKD98, while cocktails, including the Thai Collins (gin, lime, and lemongrass) and 108C, (vodka, tomato juice, and Thai spices) are priced at HKD98.

10) Jiangsu Club Showcases Sichuan Cuisine

Chinese restaurant Jiangsu Club in Sheung Wan expands its menu with a month-long Sichuan showcase from March 19 to April 18. It features over 20 classic Sichuan dishes, highlighting the region’s diverse flavors. Guests can enjoy a Sichuan Culinary Odyssey Tasting Menu (HKD1,188 per person, 2-person minimum) or order à la carte. Signature dishes include Twice-Cooked Pork with Black Bean and Soybean Paste,  Zhong Boiled Dumplings with Garlic Paste, and Dandan Noodles. The experience is elevated with award-winning Baijiu pairings from Luzhou Laojiao, one of Sichuan’s most renowned distillers. Three exceptional Baijiu labels will be available for the menu. The first is Guojiao 1573 Classic (HKD 2,380/500ml), which features elegant cellar aromas and has a sweet, clean, and harmonious style. The second, Luzhou Laojiao Tequ 60s Tribute Edition (HKD 1,200/500ml), pays homage to the 1960s with notes of papaya, lychee, and aged dried beef. Finally, Luzhou Laojiao Century Blend (HKD 1,480/750ml) opens with rich floral notes and flavors of honeydew and citrus, finishing with a lingering wash of smoky herbs.

11) Roganic’s Reopens in CWB

After five years in Causeway Bay, Simon Rogan’s Michelin-starred Roganic has moved to a new home in Lee Garden One. Continuing its commitment to innovative, sustainable gastronomy, this new space incorporates zero-waste principles not only in its food and drink offerings but also in its interiors.
