On March 13, 2025, at the Grand Lisboa Palace Resort in Macau, Michelin unveiled its annual list of starred restaurants for Hong Kong and Macau, showcasing the culinary excellence of the region.

The 2025 guide honors 95 venues, comprising 76 in Hong Kong and 19 in Macau. In total, there are nine restaurants that have been awarded three Michelin Stars, while 17 restaurants have received two Michelin Stars. A significant number, 69 restaurants, hold one Michelin Star. Additionally, there are 76 establishments recognized with the Bib Gourmand designation, highlighting quality dishes at reasonable prices.

Five restaurants have earned the prestigious Michelin Green Star: Amber, led by Richard Ekkebus (newly promoted to three Michelin Stars); Feuille, known for its nature-inspired French cuisine (one Michelin Star); the one Michelin-starred French-Chinese restaurant Mora; Simon Rogan’s one Michelin-starred Roganic, which recently opened its new location in Causeway Bay; and Macau’s UTM Educational Restaurant, known for its diverse selection of traditional Macanese, Portuguese, and Western dishes.

In addition to the prestigious stars, the guide also highlights special awards. Frankie Sui Wan Wong of Hong Kong’s Ankoma, known for serving French-Japanese cuisine, received the Young Chef Award. Winnie Zhang at Macau’s Wing Lei wins the Service Award; a native of Zhuhai, she has dedicated her career to working at Wing Lei, where her thoughtful and attentive service makes everyone feel at home. In Hong Kong, one Michelin-starred Ando, which serves one of the best by-the-glass wine menus in Hong Kong, helmed by Argentinian-born chef Agustin Balbi, has recognized Carlito Chiu for the Sommelier Award.

Among the highlights, seven restaurants have been newly awarded or elevated to one Michelin Star: Macau’s Zuicho, Aji, Sushi Kissho by Miyakawa, and Mizumi at Wynn Palace, as well as Hong Kong’s Plaisance by Mauro Colagreco, Tuber Umberto Bombana, and Ami.

Macau’s Chef Tam’s Seasons, helmed by chef Tam Kwok Fung, has been promoted to two Michelin Stars and Hong Kong’s Amber has achieved the distinction of three Michelin Stars.
