KLCW will turn Kuala Lumpur into a cocktail hub for a week, dividing the city into five areas: Bangsar, Petaling Jaya/Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, Damansara Heights, Chinatown, and Kuala Lumpur City Centre. Each will host exclusive bar events leading up to the main Festival Village celebration at Sentul Depot on April 26.

The event includes one-night bar takeovers by 27 prominent and award-winning international bars, including Handshake Speakeasy from Mexico, Bar Leone from Hong Kong, Jigger & Pony from Singapore, BKK Social Club from Thailand, and Vender Bar from Taiwan. Local bars will host these visiting bartenders, promoting collaboration and new cocktail ideas. Local bars participating include Astor Bar, Bar Trigona, Concubine, Frank’s Bar, JungleBird, Pahit, Soma, Three X Co, and more.

The main event, Festival Village, will be held at Sentul Depot on April 26 from 2.30pm to 11.30pm. Guests can explore a variety of cocktails from different brands, enjoy live music, participate in games, and watch performances.

KLCW will also feature seminars for industry professionals organized in partnership with Bar Convent Singapore. Topics include Olfactory Mixology presented by Hadrien Moudoulaud from Bar Nouveau, and The Art of Hospitality by Philip Bischoff of BKK Social Club.

The week-long event will also feature cocktail pairing dinners hosted by some of Kuala Lumpur’s top restaurants, such as Akâr, Beta, Bistro Lea, Chipta, ESCA, Ignis, Upperhouse, and YellowFin Horse at RAW. These dinners pair specialty cocktails with carefully crafted menus for a unique dining experience.
