Following the announcement that Hong Kong will host The World’s 50 Best Bars awards ceremony, it has now been revealed that its sister SAR, Macau, will host Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2025 on July 15, 2025.

This marks a significant milestone, as the highly anticipated listing ceremony will be held in Macau for the first time. Known as the ‘Las Vegas of the East,’ the city is filled with bustling casinos and hotel bars that are making a notable impact in the region. Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace will host the eagerly anticipated tenth edition of Asia’s 50 Best Bars.

Our partnership with Wynn Palace and Wynn Macau, establishments that are renowned for their world-class food and drink experiences, provide an excellent backdrop for celebrating the remarkable achievements of this year’s winners as they continue to elevate the region’s bar scene,” she adds.
Barflies can also look forward to a lineup of bar shifts taking place in Macau during that week. The program for the awards week will include an exclusive media roundtable session, Meet the Bartenders, as well as the annual Bartenders’ Feast, where Macau will showcase its finest food and drinks. This will be followed by the main ceremony.
Ahead of the ceremony, the extended 51-100 list of establishments will be announced two weeks before the awards night. This year’s awards will also include special recognitions such as Michter’s Art of Hospitality Award and Altos Bartenders’ Bartender.
Each year, Asia’s 50 Best Bars is determined by the votes of Asia’s 50 Best Bars Academy, which consists of over 300 industry experts. This group includes bartenders, bar owners, beverage writers, and cocktail enthusiasts from across the region.
