After its successful launch at Basehall, The Landmark Mandarin Oriental’s LMO Freshly Baked’s ‘Sweet and Savory Edition’ has opened a second location, this time closer to home on the second floor of Landmark Atrium.

It’s an ideal grab-and-go spot for anyone craving a tasty and easy breakfast, snack, or lunch, especially if you work around the area. LMO Freshly Baked features a selection of baked goods made fresh daily from the hotel’s kitchen, led by renowned chef Richard Ekkebus of the three Michelin-starred Amber and the hotel’s executive pastry chef Carles Codina.

You can expect treats like burnt basque cheesecake, raspberry and pistachio cookies, canelés, madeleines, and financiers (from HKD30). Plus, their Petit Gateaux Series (HKD68 each) includes gluten- and dairy-free options like the Mango & Coconut Lover with mango compote, Strawberry Cream & Frangipane Tart, 70% Dark Chocolate & Passion Fruit Pebble, Vanilla & Sea Salt Caramel Millefeuille. They also offer Somm’s popular Green Tea Tiramisu Bowl, now available in petite size.

For Easter offerings, they have hot cross buns and a Special Easter Cake (HKD598), a pain de gènes biscuit layered with a blueberry crémeux, and blueberry compote covered by Amalfi lemon cream cheese mousse.

You can also choose from three selection of large chocolate eggs: the ‘White Egg’ (HKD928), made with 34% Weiss Aneo White Chocolate filled with caramelized Sicilian pistachio and sea salt caramel; the ‘Chocolate Egg’ (HKD918), crafted from Galaxy 41% Milk Chocolate with caramelized Piedmont hazelnuts and sea salt caramel; and the ‘Dark Chocolate Egg’ (HKD898), made with 70% Komele Dark Chocolate filled with caramelized Marcona almonds and sea salt caramel. Each egg comes in an exclusive Japanese Paulownia Wooden “Kiribako” gift box, making it the perfect gift for loved ones. Available only until April 21, 2025.

For those needing a quick breakfast bite before heading to the office, LMO Freshly Baked offers sourdough sandwiches like ricotta, horseradish, and cucumber with smoked trout (HKD98) or Manchego with cured shoulder ham, tomatoes, and arugula (HKD98). There’s also the Japanese-style milk bread sandwich with smoked turkey, organic Kin egg salad, and romaine lettuce (HKD68). You can’t miss their filling chili con Impossible & pepper jack cheese pie, one of the top savory selections that sell out early in the day.

They also serve yogurt bowls, salads, and warming soups, including beef minestrone (HKD48) and the vegetarian-friendly butternut squash, curry, and coconut velouté (HKD48), an Asian-style dish with Thai purple rice broth with butternut squash and onion. If you need something to fuel you for the whole day, grab their Combo sets (from HKD62 to HKD140), which let you pair your choice of sandwiches, pies, or yogurt bowls with a salad, soup, or drink for an energy-boosting break.
Be sure to grab some drinks to wash down your food! They offer local bottled and canned products, including sparkling tea from Mezzanine Makers, soda from 12.8 Heritage, and Silver Cafe milk tea.
The LMO Freshly Baked ‘Sweet & Savory Edition’ is open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 8pm, and Saturday from 10am to 7pm and is located at Shop 233-234, 2/F, Landmark Atrium, 15 Queen’s Road, Central.
