This year’s Easter in Hong Kong comes with something for everyone: spring menus, lamb roasts, over-the-top desserts, egg hunts, and cocktails. Spending Easter with family or catching up with friends over the long weekend? These eight spots offer seasonal specials that feel festive.

If you’re looking to treat yourself to a weekend brunch, check out Uma Nota, the Brazilian-Japanese restaurant and bar that’s updating its brunch experience (HKD378 per person) with some exciting free-flow options. Available every Saturday, Sunday, and public holiday from 12pm to 4pm, guests can dip into a selection of sharing starters, choose from main courses like peanut udon with snow peas and mushrooms, roasted salmon with broccolini and miso cream sauce, or charcoal-grilled tenderloin, plus more grilled treats. Don’t forget to save room for their dessert platter. For those who want to sip while they brunch, their free-flow option (HKD210 per person) includes Prosecco, bottled beer, soft drinks, and iced tea. For an upgrade to HKD290 per person, you can enjoy 90 minutes of free-flowing Caipirinha, Fresca, Aperol Spritz, and house wines.

They also just released their spring Chef’s Menu (starting at HKD428), which features a five-course dinner ideal for groups. Enjoy starters like Truffle Cheese Buns and Amaebi Carpaccio, followed by a choice of mains, including Roasted Salmon or Charcoal-Grilled Beef Tenderloin, in a memorable dining experience.

Morton’s The Steakhouse Easter Three-Course Special

Meat lovers can head to Morton’s for their special Easter menu from April 7 to 30. The menu offers steak and lobster starting at HKD788. You can start with a Caesar or lobster bisque, then pick from cuts like filet mignon or Wagyu with your choice of sauce. Dessert? crème brûlée, key lime pie, or their famous carrot cake. All this with harbor views at The Sheraton.

Spice Bazaar’s Tandoor Barbecue Weekday Lunch

If you’re spending Easter week in the city and want something different from the usual roast, head to Spice Bazaar in Tsim Sha Tsui. Their weekday lunch sets, available from April 18 to 21, start at HKD108 and come with unlimited biryani rice, garlic naan, or fries. Choose from smoky tandoor favorites like paneer tikka, lamb chops, or garlic prawns. For something more filling, the full set (from HKD98) includes a starter, curry, dal, rice or naan, dessert, and a drink. It’s an easy midday escape with bold flavors and a break from Easter pastels.

Rosewood Hong Kong’s Easter Dining Specials

Rosewood Hong Kong’s Easter specials stretch across its best-loved dining spots. Holt’s Cafe is serving classics: roasted lamb, white asparagus, and egg waffles with caramel. Over at Henry’s steakhouse are smoked oysters, brisket burgers, and carrot cake. If you love seafood, Bayfare Social is serving seafood dishes with Spanish flair, (try the garlic langoustines and squid ink paella), and if you’re craving comfort Italian food, try the baked eggs and lamb chops at BluHouse. 

For something new, French restaurant Marmo Bistro is offering a one-night menu of ham terrine and cordon bleu (on April 20 only!). And to satisfy your sweet tooth, the chocolate eggs and Easter cookies at Butterfly Patisserie are worth the try. Cap it off with limited-edition Easter cocktails at the award-winning jazz bar, DarkSide. Seasonal cocktails, the Hoppy Easter Highball made of peanut butter-infused Nikka, cherry bitters, cacao nibs-infused Mancino Amaranto Rosso and Bunny’s Carrot, a blend of rum, falernum, carrot, citrus, and absinthe will be on the menu for the holiday.

Easter at The Astor and Terrible Baby

If you’re staying over in the Jordan area, head to Eaton HK to celebrate Easter with themed buffets at The Astor. From April 18 to 21, they’ll serve Peking duck egg benedict and rainbow desserts and kids can join a cookie-decorating class or Easter egg hunt. Terrible Baby, the hotel’s flagship bar, and one of Kowloon’s cocktail gems serves three new cocktails all month, including Hazel Espresso Martini and Hong Kong Grasshopper. If you’re ready to start the weekend on the 16th with some boozy sips, catch the exclusive guest shift of acclaimed bartender and global brand ambassador for Spirits & Fortified Wines, Boris Ivan, from 7pm til late. Known for his work as a private mixologist for Jay Z and Robbie Williams, Boris brings three signature cocktails to the bar: a tea-spiced highball to a floral gin mix and a take on the Vieux Carré. Each drink is priced at HKD110, available from 7pm until late.

Little Bao x Dead Poets: Easter Sunday Church Service

For something fun head to Central hangout spot, Dead Poets. From 3pm on April 20, Little Bao, Hong Kong’s Chinese take on the classic American diner will take over the bar with three limited-time dishes: a cumin-spiced lamb bao, crispy fries with century egg and bacon, and a carrot cake sundae with ice cream and cream cheese frosting. Each one comes with a matching cocktail from the Dead Poets bar. It’s a casual Easter event for those who want to eat well and relax with friends. Cocktails include Michelada, Rossi Sour, and Basil Gimlet. The event runs from 3pm until late.

Ming Pavilion x Keng Eng Kee Seafood Collaboration

Hokkien restaurant Ming Pavilion at Island Shangri-La will host a collab with Keng Eng Kee Seafood, a family-run culinary institution in Singapore on April 24 for dinner and April 25 for lunch and dinner. The set menu ( HKD688 or HKD988/person) includes Moonlight Hor Fun, chilli lobster, and He Tian Chicken, with optional tea or wine pairings featuring Champagne from Bruno & Christiane Olivier, 2018 Domaine Jean March Roulot, Bourgogne Blanc or 2011 Chateau Kirwan 3eme Cru Classe, Margaux.

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong Easter and Spring offerings

Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong welcomes Easter and spring with seasonal menus, and limited-time events. From now to May 25, guests can book the Springtime Bliss room package starting at HKD5,700, which includes access to the Executive Club’s breakfast, afternoon tea, evening bites, and more. For exquisite French dining, book a table at Michelin-starredCaprice for their Refined Power Dinner (HKD2,980/person), a three-course meal that starts with white asparagus, razor clams foam and Kristal Caviar, followed by Brittany Blue Lobster with morels, and roasted Japanese Saga beef for mains. Barflies can head to award-winning bar, Argo, for their second MegaFriends event on April 22. Featuring award-winning guest bars from Milan, Oaxaca, and Washington, DC, the fun event will offer guests signature drinks from Allegory, Moebius, and Selva. 

For Easter sweets, The Cake Shop offers smash chocolates, mini carrot cakes, and a takeaway afternoon tea box available until April 21.
