Casa Sophia Loren, an Italian restaurant in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, just launched a monthly dinner series that runs every last Saturday of the month, pairing a Southern Italian meal with live performances.

The event kicked off on April 26, and will take over the upstairs dining room. Inspired by classic Italian cinema, each night begins with music, dancing, and performers moving between tables. It’s designed to feel immersive but still relaxed, guests can watch, join in, or just enjoy their wine and be entertained.
Inside Casa Sophia Loren, the vibe is Mediterranean blues with space for 50 guests and room for 32 more on the outdoor terrace.
The opening theme is inspired by Scandal in Sorrento, a 1955 film starring Sophia Loren. Dancers channel the spirit of Southern Italy with expressive routines and playful nods to the golden age of Italian cinema.
Executive chef Luca Schiavone leads the kitchen, starting with a mix of shared starters like burrata, oysters, tuna tartare, octopus carpaccio, beef tartare, and fried bites like arancini and croquettes. For mains, guests can choose between grilled lamb chops, beef tagliata, steamed cod, or truffle tagliolini mixed in a Parmesan wheel and the dessert is a mix of Italian sweets, fruits, capped off with a shot of limoncello.
Doors open at 7pm. The food experience is priced at HKD888 per person. Guests can also opt for a three-hour free-flow drinks package at HKD1,388, which includes Prosecco, wine, spirits, beer, and sodas. Premium upgrades are available for those who want to level up with Moët & Chandon or Dom Pérignon.
