Award-winning Bar Leone (ranked No. 2 in World’s 50 Best Bars and No. 1 in Asia’s Best Bars 2024) is turning two this June, and they’re marking the milestone with a 10-day celebration that brings in some of the best bars and bartenders from around the world.
Opened in 2023 by Lorenzo Antinori, the bar draws inspiration from his hometown of Trastevere in Rome and brings that relaxed neighborhood energy to Hong Kong. In just two years, it’s become a fixture not just locally, but globally, with a growing list of accolades.
From June 1 to 10, the Hong Kong bar will host a lineup of guest shifts featuring names from Miami, New York, London, and more, each night offering a unique bar experience.
The series kicks off on June 1 with Julio Cabrera of Café La Trova in Miami (No. 66 on The World’s 50 Best Bars, No. 13 in North America). On June 7, Valentino Longo of ViceVersa (No. 56 in North America, also named One to Watch by Campari One) joins Harrison Ginsberg of Overstory (No. 15 on The World’s 50 Best Bars, No. 6 in North America) for a joint shift. Wrapping up the series on June 10 is Giorgio Bargiani of The Connaught Bar in London (No. 13 on the 2024 global list), one of the most respected names in the industry today.
Guest shifts begin at 7pm and continue until the bar fills. No reservations needed, just show up, grab a seat, and be ready to meet some of the most sought-after bartenders in the world today.
