Bangkok

Industry Night at The Pickwicks Chronicles
When: June 2, Monday

Where: The Pickwick Chronicles, Bangkok

Sip for a good cause! Guest bartenders Vito (Ngoc Kính) and June (Phuong Bui) from Bittersweet & Co, a secret bar inside a chocolate shop in Vietnam, will be behind the The Pickwick Chronicles cocktail bar for a one-night-only Industry Night. For every drink sold, USD2 will be donated to Bangkok Community Help to support their Meals for the Homeless program. Pickwicks will give USD1 per drink, and Tito’s Handmade Vodka will match it, up to a total of USD600. Come by, grab a drink, and make it count.

Southbank Café + Lounge at Dry Wave Cocktail Studio

Manila’s Melburnian-inspired Southbank Café + Lounge is heading to Bangkok for a guest shift at Dry Wave Cocktail Studio in Thonglor. Catch Patrick Leyble and Kevin Corales behind the bar for one night as they serve signature cocktails inspired by global flavors.

Canes & Tales Pop-Up at The Loft
When: June 12, Thursday

Canes & Tales, a new bar from Waldorf Astoria Osaka, is coming to Bangkok for one night. Inspired by F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Tales of the Jazz Age, the team will bring their opening cocktail menu to their sister venue, The Loft, located on the 56th floor of Bangkok’s Waldorf Astoria. Expect drinks with a vintage, 1930s feel.

Soko x Le Chamber at Aqua
When: June 12, Wednesday
Time: 8pm to 11pm
Where: Aqua, Bangkok

Aqua welcomes two of Seoul’s standout bartenders from bars both listed on Asia’s 50 Best Bars. The back to back one-night guest shift presents Soko Ono of Soko (ranked No. 46 in 2023) and JJ Lim of Le Chamber (ranked No. 48 in 2024). The duo brings their signature cocktails and Seoul-style energy to this midweek takeover at Bangkok’s favorite open-air bar.

Hope & Sesame at Stella

Where: Stella, Bangkok

Guangzhou’s Hope & Sesame, known for their creative techniques and drinks like truffle banana and taro cocktails (ranked No. 14 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 and named Best Bar in Mainland China), is heading to  Capella Bangkok’s cocktail salon, Stella, for one night. Hope’s co-owner Bastien Ciocca will bring their signature style to Bangkok. Reservations are encouraged.

Bangalore

The Haflington Comes to Copitas
When: June 6, Friday

Where: Copitas, Bangalore

Hanoi bar The Haflington will take over Four Seasons Bengaluru’s Copitas for one night. Ranked No. 47 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, The Haflington is known for its classic and vintage-themed menu. Anh Do and Dat Pham will be on shift, bringing a selection of their drinks to Bengaluru.

Beijing

Reka:Bar at Long Fong
When: June 3, Tuesday
Time: 8pm to 12am
Where: Bar Long Fong, Beijing

Joel Poon of Reka:Bar in Kuala Lumpur (ranked No. 41 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) is heading to Beijing for a one-night guest shift at Long Fong, known to spotlight single origin ingredients in their cocktail program. Joel, adept at creating craft cocktail using modern techniques, will bring five Reka signature drinks to Long Fong, two of which are brand-new and will be launched at the event. Drop by and be taken by surprise.

Hong Kong

Native at The Savory Project

Where: The Savory Project, Hong Kong

To mark their second anniversary, Jay Khan’s The Savory Project (ranked No. 19 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) invites Singapore’s Native (ranked No. 31 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) for a one-night bar takeover. Vijay Mudaliar and Adrian Leow will be behind the stick serving signature cocktails, including one made with sourdough from the HK cult favorite, Bakehouse.

Hong Kong Best Bars Takeover at The Aubrey

Mandarin Oriental’s flagship bar The Aubrey (ranked No. 10 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024)  is hosting a one-night event that brings together 11 of Hong Kong’s most well-known bars. This special night is curated by Stefano Bussi, The Aubrey’s bar manager and Diageo World Class Bartender of the Year 2024 for Hong Kong and Macau. It’s a showcase of different styles and ideas that reflect Hong Kong’s growing cocktail scene.

Several of the participating bars are recognized on Asia’s 50 Best Bars list: Bar Leone (ranked No. 1 in Asia and No. 2 in the world), The Savory Project (No. 19), Penicillin (No. 24), Quinary (No. 26), Mizunara: The Library (No. 66), Honky Tonks Tavern (No. 67), and The Old Man (No. 71) alongside other standout names like Artifact, Gokan, Socio, and Courtroom. No reservations required. Just drop by and enjoy drinks from some of the city’s top bars all in one place.

The Back Room HK Takeover

Volkan Ibil, Shangri-La the Fort’s director of bars and the head honcho of hidden bar The Back Room in Manila  is heading to Hong Kong for a two-day guest shift. He’ll be at Quinary (ranked No. 26 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) on June 11 and Soho House on June 12 for a member’s only soirée, bringing cocktails inspired by the Prohibition-era.

Sip & Savor Vol. 3: Taiwan Takeover at The St. Regis

Where: The St. Regis Bar, Hong Kong

Two of Taiwan’s top bartenders will head to The St. Regis Bar in Hong Kong for a one-night shift alongside the talented team of the hotel bar. Pedison Kao (Bar Without, Taiwan), Mars Chang (To Infinity and Beyond, No. 61 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars), and the team from The St. Regis, first brought together by the prestigious Diageo World Class competition, they will join forces in partnership with London Essence to serve up creative, world-class cocktails.

The Bellwood at Lobster Bar and Grill

Where: Lobster Bar & Grill, Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong

Tokyo’s The Bellwood heads to Hong Kong for a bar takeover at Island Shangri-La’s Lobster Bar and Grill. Ranked No. 34 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024, the bar is known for its creative menus inspired by Japan’s kaiseki dining. Behind the bar is Atsushi Suzuki, whose cocktails blend Japanese flavors with modern techniques. Grab a seat and get a taste of this Kamiyamacho favorite.

Lobster Bar and Grill is located at Island Shangri-La, Level 6, Pacific Place, Supreme Court Road, Central, Hong Kong

Vietnam Bar Night at Bar de Luxe

Two of Vietnam’s top bartenders are flying in to HK for a one-night-only guest shift at  H Code’s Japanese spot Bar de Luxe. Phat Dangdang of Drinking & Healing (a finalist at Campari Redhands 2024 and Dewar’s Highball Challenge 2023 champion) joins Dolly Xu of ASMR Cocktail Bar (Deacon Whisky Challenge 2024 winner) for an evening of cocktails inspired by Vietnamese flavors.

Sorry Not Sorry Collective Bar Takeover at Call Me AL

The Sorry not Sorry Collective, a female-led hospitality group from Australia, is going to Hong Kong as part of its first international tour. Co-founded by award-winning bartenders Rocky Hair and Jenna Hemsworth, the group is known for mixing drinks with advocacy.The two-day event includes a guest shift and a community fireside chat, both aimed to create a safer, more inclusive spaces in the bar world.

Ponty Hour at The Pontiac

Where: The Pontiac, Hong Kong

The Pontiac is celebrating 10 years by rolling prices back to day one. Ponty Hour is on every day from 4pm to 7pm, with Mondays stretching the deals all night. Drinks start at HKD38, with classic and signature cocktails like the Cherry Bomb, and Lavender Menace. Small bites like Cajun Fries and Chicken Nuggs are also on the menu.

Jakarta

Nobu Dubai at The Cocktail Club

Where: The Cocktail Club, Jakarta

Angelo Immorlano and Juan Patogu of Nobu Dubai are heading to The Cocktail Club, (ranked No. 12 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024). Angelo, with 16 years of experience from Zuma London to Nobu Dubai, now leads the bar program at Nobu. Juan joins him fresh off a top 3 finish at the 2024 UAE Cointreau Margarita Challenge.

Kuala Lumpur

Craftroom at Three X Co

Ryu Fujii is heading to Kuala Lumpur for Craftroom’s first-ever shift in Malaysia. Fujii brings in Osaka’s Craftroom (ranked No. 28 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) minimalist cocktails, seasonal flavors, and a jazz-bar feel you might want to slide into Three X Co’s DM for a seat!

Macau

A Taste of India at Wing Lei Bar
When: June 6, Friday
Time: 8pm
Where: Wing Lei Bar, Macau

For one night only, three of India’s top bars are taking over Wing Lei Bar.

Macleigh Fernandes of The Lab at Amaraanth will bring drinks made with ingredients foraged from around Goa. Veer Chhetri from Bar Outrigger, a rum-focused bar also from Goa, will join in. Rounding out the lineup is Rajib Mukherjee of ZLB23, a Kyoto-inspired bar in Bangalore and currently India’s highest-ranked bar (No. 40) on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024. Each will be serving cocktails that show off the diversity of India’s thriving bar scene.

The SG Club Takeover at The Grasshopper Bar

Tokyo’s The SG Club (ranked No. 23 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 and No. 36 on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2023) is heading to Manila for a midweek guest shift. On June 4, Yuya Nagamine will take over the bar at Grasshopper, a bartender-owned bar known for spotlighting local produce, for one night only. Yuya, who oversees nine bars globally, will bring that same energy to Manila.

Taste of Davao at Oto

It’s Pride Month! Celebrate with a ‘Taste of Davao’ at Oto in Poblacion Join Carlos Mangcupang of Gay Drinking with Carlos for a night of cocktails, drag, and music. The event will feature Luisita Rum drinks, a special performance by drag artist Feyvah Fatale, and DJ sets from Ricodisco and Xtina Superstar. It’s all about good energy, community, and pride.

The Bizarre Cocktail Salu-Salo
When: June 6–7, Friday to Saturday
Where: The Bizarre, Makati

To mark its first year, Manila’s first degustation cocktail bar, The Bizarre, is hosting The Bizarre Cocktail Salu-Salo, a two-night anniversary bash with 14 participating bars from Metro Manila. Each hour, two bars will take over the space serving up their signature cocktails straight from their own menus.

Each ticket is priced at PHP750 per hour, PHP1,000 for walk-ins, which comes with drink-all-you-can cocktails, a welcome snack, and pass-around bites for your chosen hour. Guests are encouraged to reserve multiple time tickets.

Countdown to Independence Day at Polilya

World Gin Day: Arc Takeover at Gilarmi Lounge

Where: The Gilarmi Lounge, Discovery Primea, Makati

Discovery Primea teams up with The Full Circle Distiller’s handcrafted Arc Gin for World Gin Day, featuring a one-night bar takeover by ARC Gin advocate Vanessa Rabadon. She’ll be mixing up gin cocktails made with local Filipino flavors. At the 2025/26 SoCraft Awards, Arc Navy Strength and Black Bamboo Gins each earned two  stars, while their Botanical Gin and Lava Rock Vodka took home a one star. Catch Vanessa behind the bar and sip cocktails with some of the country’s best gin.

Quinary at Ruby Wong’s Godown

Award-winning Quinary, pioneer of molecular mixology in Hong Kong is coming to Manila for a two-night guest shift at Ruby Wong’s. Ranked on Asia’s 50 Best Bars for seven years straight, Quinary brings signature pours with guest bartenders Kai Ng and Jackie Wong behind the bar.

The Old Man at Three Dots

Head bartender Yik Cheung Seto and Michelle Nueva are flying in for a special guest shift at Three Dots, bringing with them the signature drinks The Old Man is known for. 

Wasteland at Raion

Before reopening their new space in Bangkok, zero-waste bar, Wasteland, is heading to Raion in San Juan. Founded by Kittibordee Gov Chortubtim and Tot Hoonchamlong, Wasteland has made a name for its pop-ups and sustainability-led cocktails. Originally located in Thai restaurant, Bo.lan, the bar has since reemerged through community-led events, soda collaborations, and regional takeovers like this one in Manila.

Nara

Andrea Minarelli at Lamp Bar

If you happen to be in Nara this month, be sure to catch Andrea Minarelli, bar manager of Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo, who will be mixing behind the stick at Lamp Bar (ranked No. 23 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2023) for one night only. Originally from Italy, Andrea now runs the bar at one of Tokyo’s top hotels, creating drinks inspired by his travels around Japan.

Phuket

BKK All Stars at The Fool
When: June 14–15, Saturday to Sunday
Time: 7pm to 1am
Where: The Fool Speakeasy, Bangkok

The Fool turns one with a stacked two-night lineup featuring some of Bangkok’s best. On June 14, check out Ken Chinawat from Firefly and Nut Nuttawat from Opium, then Tom Hearn and Nice Tatagone from Vesper till late. June 15 brings in Francesco Moretti (Perrier) and Philip Agustin (BBC), followed by Khem Parichat from Crimson Room and Ploy Siriwan, also from BBC. Each night runs two shifts: 7pm to10pm and 10pm to 1am with DJ spinning all night, mini Tarot sticker giveaways, and best of all, zero reservations required.

Shanghai

The Curator at Speak Low

Manila’s The Curator (ranked No. 33 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) heads to Shanghai. On June 3, the bar’s co-founder David Ong and head bartender Sciemon Maquirang will be behind the bar at multi-level speakeasy-style bar, Speak Low, bringing the flavors of one of Manila’s best-known cocktail bars. No reservations needed, just simply show up and enjoy the night.

Shenzhen

Bar High Five’s Ueno Hidetsugu at Obsidian Bar

Where: Obsidian Bar, Shenzhen

One of Japan’s well-known bartenders, Ueno Hidetsugu of Bar High Five, is heading  to Shenzhen. Known for his precision and mastery of the art of mixology, Ueno will be behind the bar at Obsidian shaking up five cocktails with Rémy Cointreau. If you’re lucky, you might get a classic Martini from the master himself. Limited seats available so be sure to book early.

Singapore

Dirty Sessions at Dirty Supper

Dirty Supper teams up with Campari and Jura for a one-night shift featuring bar manager Arjay Guarin and Campari’s Bystrik Uko. The duo will be mixing up spirit-forward drinks with a slightly wild streak fitting for a night called “Dirty Sessions.”

Cat Bite Club 2nd Anniversary

Where: Cat Bite Club, Singapore

Cat Bite Club is turning two and throwing a party to match. On June 9, the Singapore bar will be hosting four guest bartenders from across the region for a one-night celebration. The lineup includes Cedric Mendoza (ReCraft Bar, Manila), Kenny Soetomo (The Golden Tooth Bar, Jakarta), Chanel Adams (The Bamboo Bar, Bangkok), and Chun Chun (The Pi, Hồ Chí Minh) so expect good drinks and music, better to round up your friends and show up early.

Catch Adonis Reyes (Baia), William Camcam (Employees Only), Dora Amurao (InterContinental), Kelvin Saquilayan (Republic), Joma Rivera (Tamba), Edrianne Lim (Tess), and Karlo Torres (Chandu Bar) behind the stick all in one room for one night only.

Festival of Friendship at Sago House

Sago House kicks off its “Festival of Friendship” event with two nights of guest shifts from top UK bars. On June 12, Sophie Douse and Juliette Combeau from Swift (London) will take over the bar. Swift has been a staple in the London cocktail scene since 2016.

The celebration continues Friday, June 13, with Kyle Jamieson and Michael Lynch from Nauticus (Edinburgh), bringing their Scottish spirit and neighborhood bar charm to the mix.

Angelita Madrid at Native

Madrid’s Angelita (ranked No. 65 on The World’s 50 Best Bars 2024) will be at Native for a one-night-only guest shift. Mario Villalón will be behind the bar, bringing Angelita’s unique “no ice, no tools” approach, along with cocktails from their new menu, Symbiosis. Make sure to catch this special collab.

Zest at Tokyo Confidential

Holly Graham’s Tokyo Confidential is welcoming Korea’s top bar for a one-night-only guest shift on June 8. Zest, ranked No. 2 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024 and a winner of the Sustainable Bar Award, is shaking things up behind the bar with co-founder Yongjin Noah Kwon and general manager Danny Park. Known for their zero-waste approach to mixology, the bar will be serving drinks like Biscuit Einspanner with leftover butter crumble and the Custard Sour with ingredients such as pistachio and yuzu. Be sure not to miss this!

Bacardi House Party at Gold Bar at Edition

Gold Bar at Edition teams up with Mahaniyom (ranked No. 18 on Asia’s 50 Best Bars 2024) for a Bacardi House Party takeover. Catch global Bacardi Legacy champ Ronnaporn Kanivichaporn and bar partner Wannaporn Jampa in Tokyo for the shift. They’ll serve up well-loved cocktails in one of the city’s best bars. The SG Tavern 1st Anniversary
