Jean-Pierre, Black Sheep Restaurants group’s (proprietor of Belon, The Magistracy, Prince and The Peacock, Ho Lee Fook, and more) newly opened Parisian bistro on Bridges Street in Sheung Wan, has launched a dedicated bar menu. Since it opened in May, the venue has been offering its full dining experience with French comfort food as well as classic cocktails with French twists. This month, the restaurant now welcomes guests looking for a drink or light bite.

The new cocktail program is led by Maître des Cocktails Suraj Gurung and focuses on French classics but with a few twists. Options include the Cornichon Martini (HKD128), made with pickle brine, the Chambord Margarita (HKD128) made with raspberry liqueur, Vieux Carré (HKD128) with rye, Cognac, vermouth, and Bénédictine. The menu also lists an Absinthe Frappé (HKD128) and a Sidecar (HKD128).
For food, the bar offers a short menu of bistro staples. The JP Burger (HKD208) is limited to 10 servings each night, and uses a soft bun with house-made sauce and beef. The Croque Monsieur (HKD268) uses Poilâne bread and Bentz jambon de Paris, there’s also the Pierre Koffmann Frites (HKD88) served with aioli.
Located right next to the popular cocktail bar, Bar Leone, Jean-Pierre makes for a perfect starting point if you’re bar-hopping along Bridges Street. This bar menu offers a more flexible way to experience the space, ideal for a quick cocktail, a solo snack, or an unplanned stop with friends.
